IndependentNo pay-to-rank

iGaming platform providers, ranked after investigation.

494-field framework · 18 providers · one editorial standard

The independent editorial database of the companies that power online casinos and sportsbooks. We compare 18 platforms using a 494-field research framework. We investigate beyond vendor disclosure and publish our best current picture of capabilities, licensing, commercial risk, vendor lock-in, and real-world fit. Nobody pays us to move the order.

01 / The basics

What is an iGaming platform provider?

It is the B2B company that supplies the technology to run an online casino or sportsbook, including the player account system, wallet, bonus engine, game integrations, payments and reporting. Operators license this stack rather than build it. "Provider" covers a few models, and most vendors offer more than one.

01

Platform / PAM

The core engine for accounts, wallet, bonuses, payments and reporting. The system of record.

e.g. White Hat Gaming

02

Game aggregator

One integration that plugs in thousands of slots and live games from many studios.

e.g. Pariplay

03

Turnkey

A ready-to-run stack under your own licence, with hosting, integrations and often payments bundled.

e.g. SOFTSWISS

04

White-label

A route using a third-party license wrapper held by a provider, affiliate, or licensed partner instead of your entity holding the operating license directly.

e.g. BetConstruct

05

Sportsbook

Odds, markets, risk management and live betting, standalone or as an add-on.

e.g. Digitain

06

Standalone / API

Run a defined PAM or module scope under your own license; hosting, control, data, and exit rights remain contract-specific.

e.g. EveryMatrix

White-label providers

Our current read: both are top-tier. EveryMatrix is the stronger fit for modular multi-product scale, while SOFTSWISS suits a crypto-first casino operation. That conclusion includes risk and execution evidence beyond the rows above.

What each platform actually does

Confirmed capabilities, partial or optional routes, explicit negatives, and unresolved evidence are kept separate.

Coverage totals preserve the existing shortlist flags: partial or optional availability generally counts as covered, while US readiness still requires an explicit Yes. The cells retain the more precise status; unresolved never means No.

How to choose, and how we score

Structured data makes the comparison rigorous; editorial judgment turns it into a real recommendation. These six lenses keep the investigation broad, but no formula decides the score.

We don't score marketing spend, brand buzz, or vendor PR. Only what changes the build.

What an iGaming platform costs

Pricing is the least transparent part of the market. Only 1 of 18 providers publishes current product-level rates, and none publishes a complete comparable launch schedule. Contracts and customer records provide useful, case-specific evidence for several others.

01

Current rate card

BetConstruct is the only provider in our set with current public product-level setup and share baselines. They are not an all-in launch quote.

02

Executed contracts

Disclosed EveryMatrix and Pragmatic Solutions agreements expose minimums, setup, infrastructure, account-management, and revenue-share layers.

03

Customer and public records

Customer filings and public procurement can reveal real economics, but each record belongs to one operator, product, date, and scope.

04

Build in-house

There is no defensible public market total. Model the actual engineering, compliance, certification, support, hosting, content, and payment scope.

14 / Compliance

Licenses and regulators

Current supplier-side permissions from our legal-entity register. A direct B2B license, supplier registration, combined license and recognition remain distinct in the underlying record; B2C-only and unresolved claims do not create a filled cell.

Established in current profile Not established in current profile

A filled cell means at least one current exact-entity supplier credential is established for that regulator or market. An empty cell is not a legal conclusion that none exists. Inspect the holder, number, class, status, dates and caveats in the provider license register.

15 / Browse

Find your shortlist

Narrow the database by how you will deploy, what you are launching, and where. The number shows how many qualify.

16 / Reference

Key terms

The vocabulary you will hit while shopping for a platform.

PAMPlayer Account Management

The core system behind accounts, wallet, bonuses, KYC and reporting. The platform's spine.

Aggregator

A single-API route to games from multiple studios; studio contracts, certificates, and market availability can still differ.

Turnkey

A supplied stack under the customer's operating license; the contract defines which platform, integration, and managed-service responsibilities remain with the vendor.

White-label

A provider, affiliate, or licensed partner supplies the operating-license wrapper instead of the customer holding that permit directly.

GGRGross Gaming Revenue

Total stakes minus player winnings; some revenue-share contracts use it as a fee base.

RevShare

A contract fee expressed as a share of an agreed revenue base; definitions, deductions, minimums, and tiers vary.

GLIGaming Laboratories Int'l

The testing house that certifies RNGs and platforms (GLI-19, GLI-33).

MGAMalta Gaming Authority

Malta's gambling regulator, issuing distinct B2C gaming-service and B2B critical-supply permissions. Neither is an EU-wide passport.

RTPReturn to Player

Common questions

Q01What is an iGaming platform provider?+

The B2B company that supplies the technology to run an online casino or sportsbook, including the player account system (PAM), wallet, bonus engine, game integrations, payments and reporting. Operators license this stack instead of building it from scratch.

Q02Platform vs aggregator vs turnkey vs white-label?+

A platform (PAM) is the core account, wallet, and back-office engine. An aggregator is one integration for multiple game studios. Turnkey is a managed technology stack used under the operator's own license. White label uses a third-party license wrapper held by a provider, affiliate, or licensed partner. The labels do not determine launch time, price, data ownership, or exit rights; the exact entities, approvals, scope, and contract do.

Q03How much does an iGaming platform cost?+

There is no defensible universal price. The records in our database show different combinations of setup fees, revenue share, monthly minimums, infrastructure, account management, and third-party costs; only one provider publishes current product-level baselines. Compare a worked first-year and full-term model for the same scope, volume, market, licence structure, and exit rights. An in-house build also needs its own staffing, compliance, certification, hosting, support, content, and payment model.

Q04Do providers pay to be ranked higher?+

No. Position comes from our editorial assessment only. We do not sell rankings, sponsored slots, or ads to the providers we review. We revisit the order when the underlying facts change.

Q05How is the score calculated?+

It is not mechanically calculated. We investigate six broad areas — content, platform, licensing, commercial reality, time to market, and support — then assign one holistic editorial score using the structured data and wider findings. Feature count and profile completeness do not determine the rating.
